Astros win! Woody Williams finally gets a W. Lidge gets a hold. Wheeler gets a save. Complete awesome.

My going away party is tonight. While I may miss some of these people over here, I'm certainly not overly emotional about leaving them behind. Every person who leaves always gives a speech at the end of their going away. I'm not going to do that. This is what I plan to say: "Thank you for all the positive things you have added to my experience here. Please stay safe, and all the best to you."
Hey, it's better than "Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, you're cool, fuck you, I'm out."

Looks like UT may be recruiting Joseph Ibiloye again. Smart move. I'd rather take an instate 4* type player who would otherwise go to OU than an OOS 5* who would otherwise go to USC.

I bought my ACL Fest ticket today. While the lineup has some flava, it's still not as good imo as the Coldplay/Black Crowes/Oasis lineup. But you can't go wrong with Bob Dylan, The White Stripes, and Wilco. $150 is pretty hardcore, but F it, shit like that is one small reason I came to Iraq, so I don't have to sweat 150 bones to go to a great concert.

Expect an inordinantly long Star Wars post either tomorrow or the next day.

re: ACL fest lineup
There are some great acts on that bill. Ones I would absolutely love to see:
Dylan, White Stripes, Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Arctic Monkeys, Robert Earl Keen, Lucinda Williams, Indigo Girls, The Decemberists, Steve Earle, Ben Kweller, Andrew Bird, and Pete Yorn.
I'd also check out We Go To 11 just because of their awesome name.
